1987 & 1988 Season
“Speedway Pilgrimage” --- a mixture of Australian travel, nostalgia with sound interviews from Charlie Spinks and Phil “Tiger” Hart, the 1987 Aussie Solo Final, action from a Junior Cup Challenge featuring a very young Jason Crump and many sound interviews with the likes of Steve Baker, Steve Davis, David Jackson, Mick Poole, Tony Rose, Troy Butler, Nigel Tremeling,Craig Hodgson and Phil Crump plus the one and only Johnny Hoskins M.B.E., along with Steve Regeling and Shawn Moran in vision as well as sound.
Compilation Video 1 – Pete Chapman interview and 2nd half of Peterborough v Eastbourne ; a look in at the Bradford pits during the Overseas Final, no racing but interesting listening with Ray Tauser of the U.S.A., going back through the years ; Peterborough v Middlesbrough cup tie excitement plus Nigel Flatman, Craig Hodgson & Ian Barney ; Peterborough v Edinburgh N.L. with interviews from Kevin Hawkins and Les Collins.
Compilation Video 2 – Joe Owen interview and Peterborough v Newcastle ; old cine clips including Briggs & Mauger team riding to keep out Ole Olsen in the early 70’s etc. ; Peterborough v Czechoslovakia challenge match.

To celebrate the completion of my 48th year of recording speedway in the year 2004 as from September 30th 1955 at the Blackbird Road Stadium, Leicester, sadly now no more, I present “48” for your interest and excitement.
This 3 hour recording, either dvd or video features talks from many world champions, various speedway personalities, plenty of interviews and exciting races with many of today’s speedway riders and not forgetting one of Leicester Hunters favourites, the one and only Hurri-Ken Mckinlay sadly deceased.
“48” will help to get the pending new speedway museum a reality or on the other hand more monies will go to the Speedway Riders Benevolent Fund, the choice is yours !
